Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 9 New Rules :-
इसलिए, दिल्ली पुलिस में कांस्टेबल (कार्यकारी) (पुरुष) के पद के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस (नियुक्ति और भर्ती) नियम-1980 के भर्ती नियम-9 में संशोधन का मसौदा हितधारकों की जानकारी के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस की वेबसाइट पर अपलोड किया जा रहा है। सभी हितधारकों से अनुरोध है कि वे मसौदा भर्ती नियमों को ध्यान से पढ़ें और अपनी आपत्ति/टिप्पणी, यदि कोई हो, 30 दिनों की अवधि के भीतर नीचे हस्ताक्षरकर्ता को प्रस्तुत करें, अर्थात वेबसाइट पर अपलोड करने की तिथि। यदि आज तक कोई आपत्ति/टिप्पणी प्राप्त नहीं हुई, तो दिल्ली पुलिस उपर्युक्त मसौदा भर्ती नियमों में संशोधन के लिए आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने के लिए आगे बढ़ेगी। Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 9 New Rules
#1 Short title and Commencement:-
- This Rule may be called the Delhi Police (Appointment & Recruitment) (Amendment), Rules, 2024.
- They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Central Gazette.
#2 Number of posts, classification and Level in the Pay Matrix-
The number of posts, their classification and level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto shall be specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.
#3 Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications etc. –
The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.
#4 Disqualification- No person :-
(a) Who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) Who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied, that such marriage is permissible under the personnel law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
#5 Power to relax-
Where the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary
expedient so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, retax any of the provisions of this rule with respect of any class or category of persons.
6# Saving-
Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concession required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen or any other special category of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

#8 Age limit for direct recruits :-
Delhi Police Age Limit :-
- न्यूनतम आयु: 18 वर्ष
- अधिकतम आयु: 25 वर्ष
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Agniveers: Additional 3 years (with 5 years for the first batch of Agniveers).
Note 4: Ex-Agniveers:- 3 years relaxation in prescribed upper age limit. Further, age relaxation of 5 years beyond the prescribed upper age limit will be given to the candidates of the 1st batch of _&njyeer Scheme.
#9 Educational and other qualifications required for the direct recruits
(I) दिल्ली पुलिस शैक्षणिक योग्यता – Qualification :-
भारत में किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से 10+2 इंटरमीडिएट परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण।
छूट: / Relaxation:–
बैंड्समैन, बुग्लर, माउंटेड कांस्टेबल, ड्राइवर, डिस्पैच राइडर और मल्टी-टास्किंग स्टाफ (एमटीएस) के लिए न्यूनतम योग्यता 11वीं पास है।
(II) Essential requirement:-
Candidate must possess a valid driving license for Motor Car or Motor Cycle on the date fixed for Physical Endurance & Measurement Test.
Note:-not essential for post of constable This requirement is Bandsmen/Buglers/Dog -Handlers etc.
(II) Essential Physical Standard:-
Height:
- Minimum 170_cms.
- Relaxable by 5 centimeters for:-
- i) Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumanonis, Gorkha, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh.

Chest:- Minimum 81 Centimeters (with minimum of 5 cms expansion).
- Relaxable by 3 cms for:-
- i. Candidates of hill areas as mentioned above.
- ii. Relaxable 5 cms for ST candidates.
- Note 1: Relaxation in Educational Qualification, physical standard for compassionate appointment will be as per the guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.
